The Accounting Bookkeeper will work closely with our owners and St. Louis business team. This position requires a highly motivated, analytical, and organized individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and knowledge and knack for the craft beer industry.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, enter, review and manage the posting of financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Send invoices and enforce payment terms with customers
  • Maintain customer confidence with security of financial information
  • Continually seek and recommend areas for improvement in financial aspects of business
  • Analyze data to understand the company's financial health; generate monthly financial statement
  • Oversee administrative expenses
  • Maintain historical records

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • 2+ years proven proficiency in managing an organization’s accounting
  • Strong project management skills, attention to detail, work ethic, and ability to work independently
  • Solid understanding of business and financial concepts, including knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Exemplary communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to use financial systems and reporting tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Quickbooks
  • A high degree of accuracy and precision is required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Craft beer industry experience a plus
