The Evening Production Technician will assist the production crew in tasks relating to propagation of commercial yeast pitches. This position requires a highly motivated individual with a knack for the craft beer industry. Please note: the work hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 2pm-10pm.

Position Type:

Full-time, non-exempt

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks related to yeast propagation including wort production, wort transfer, vessel CIP/SIP, and yeast inoculation.
  • Record and report data related to ensuring quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized production area.
  • Promote continued improvement and increased efficiency in the production area.

Requirements:

  • Passion for craft beer
  • Brewery production experience preferred but not required
  • Adaptable and able to efficiently manage time and tasks
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends
  • Able to lift 55 pounds repeatedly and maneuver up to 165 pounds
  • Able to be on your feet for long periods of time
  • Able to bend and kneel
  • Spending long periods of time in hotter than comfortable environments
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
