Overview
The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for the upkeep and repair of the facility and brewing equipment. They will also aid in the design and fabrication of new process equipment.
Accountability
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Supervises: N/A
Responsibilities
- Regular inspections and maintenance of brewing equipment
- Repair faulty or broken equipment/utilities
- Plan and document monthly, quarterly, and annual maintenance
- Assist in planning and fabrication of process equipment as needed for process improvement projects
- Provide support for the brewhouse commissioning crew
- Perform general maintenance on facility including painting, plumbing, electrical, and landscaping
- Support warehouse staff by loading/unloading trucks and reorganizing skids
- Maintain inventory records for equipment and supplies
Qualifications
- Plumbing copper, PEX, PVC
- Wood and metal working
- Maintenance scheduling experience, and software usage a plus
- Basic understanding of home electrical systems (breakers, electrical equipment needs, running conduit)
- Basic understanding of commercial plumbing systems
- Basic understanding of commercial HVAC systems
- Drywall
- Troubleshooting/research skills to address issues
- Concrete
- Box truck driving
- Valid driver’s license
- Forklift experience, or willingness to be trained in forklift operation
- Willingness to learn
