A reliable flocculator, British Ale X produces a well balanced beer with bready, toasty, malty esters that increase in fruitiness at higher fermentation temperatures, but are rather clean at the lower end. Malty esters contribute good complexity in English pale ales, brown ales, mild ales, and other malt-driven styles.
